Crispy Easter Nests

I made this with the chinese noodles as suggested and they looked great but were difficult to eat. I also used bag marshmallows and added white chocolate chips melted with a cube of unsweetened chocolate b/c I didn't have any milk chocolate chips. This worked out good. I think using the jarred marshmallow would work better because it creates "softer" rice krispie treats ( know this from experience) and the choco chips would strengthen. All in all, the chinese noodles looked cool but I think if I make again I'll use rice krispies so that the baskets are easier to eat.

I made them but instead of rice krispies, I used chinese rice noodles, looks more authentic.

Adorable! Got lots of ooohs and aaaahs from my family for Easter brunch - and they are DELICIOUS! I used less than half a bag of coconut and still had lots left, so cut that back, but otherwise, it was perfect. I got some cute cupcake papers in a pastel plaid pattern and put the nests on a platter with a daisy pattern. I'll definitely make these again next Easter.

I agree that there is way too much coconut! You could probably get away with 3/4 of a cup. I thought that it was a very simple recipe - just make sure you use cooking spray on your hands!

kind of a pain to make, but my son and I did it together and had fun with it. WAY TOO much coconut. we doubled everything esle and still had a ton of coconut left over
