I doubled this recipe and substituted half of the Crispix for Shreddies (Shreddies increase the fibre considerably to make it healthier) It is the best ever! I love this and it is not bland but not spicy enough for the little ones to turn their nose up either. I will be making this again & again, cheap to make, easy and healthy while still tasting good.

Threw it away, the flavours did not work together.

We love the traditional chex mix, but this is just as good! For adjustments: I doubled the recipe, baked for a full hour, used Smart Balance instead of butter, we only had 1/2 of the required chili powder, subbed garlic salt for regular salt, and I only used corn chex, wheat chex and pretzel sticks. In the end, the only thing I would change is using the full amount of chili powder and a little less cumin. It's a keeper!

Used orange-ginger stir fry sauce instead of ginger stir fry sauce. Overall, tasted good and would make again. Was told it tasted like a Mexican side dish. Mine had a very prominent chili powder taste (even though I used the proportion that the recipe called for). Would have to quadruple the recipe when entertaining.

Like many, I did not find this recipe particularly spicy. However, the second time I made it, I added chipotle chili powder and a hot sauce. Instead of using a ginger stir fry sauce, I used a 'spicy' stir fry sauce. It will picked it up! It is wonderful, and something that I will make on many occasions!
