Very light and crisp, tender inside - not too crunchy. Cheddar flavour was not as distinct as I was hoping (I used yellow sharp cheddar), but otherwise a fantastic recipe! Simple and easy to make - could be quite versatile. I served with fried chicken and the family loved it. My only tip is to add the club soda at the last possible moment before cooking. We're trying the Chicken a la King recipe tonight!
