Creole Barbecue Sauce

This barbecue sauce features melted butter and gets a kick of flavor from three types of ground pepper, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and lime juice. 

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon Spanish paprika
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Pinch of white pepper
  • Pinch of ground red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons white onion, finely grated
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted

How to Make It

  1. Mix first 9 ingredients in a small bowl. Combine onion and next 4 ingredients in a separate bowl, and stir in garlic powder mixture until well blended.
