Creole Barbecue Sauce

This barbecue sauce features melted butter and gets a kick of flavor from three types of ground pepper, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and lime juice.

Ingredients

1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon Spanish paprika
Pinch of black pepper
Pinch of white pepper
Pinch of ground red pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons white onion, finely grated
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
6 tablespoons butter, melted

Preparation

Mix first 9 ingredients in a small bowl. Combine onion and next 4 ingredients in a separate bowl, and stir in garlic powder mixture until well blended.
