I make this all the time. I've gotten to the point where I don't bother to read the recipe anymore, I just know what to add. I would suggest to let the cream cheese warm up first and also smash it by itself before adding the rest of the ingredients. Use a food processor if you have one. I almost always make a 1/2 recipe for this because I can't eat a full recipe when I'm making it for myself. I would rate this a delicious and easy to make recipe. Definitely plan on making it again soon.
Creamy Guacamole
Ingredients
- 4 ripe avocados, peeled and seeded
- 1 (8-ounce) package light cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup picante sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- Garnish: chopped tomato
Preparation
- Mash avocados and cream cheese with a fork or potato masher. Stir in picante sauce, lemon juice, and garlic salt. Cover and chill upto 2 hours, if desired. Garnish, if desired. Serve with tortilla chips.
