Creamy Frosting
This recipe goes with Tea Cake Hat Cookies, Teapot Cake
Yield: Makes 4 cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 (16-ounce) boxes powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Preparation
- Beat butter and shortening at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy; gradually add powdered sugar alternately with milk, and beat until smooth. Stir in vanilla.
