Creamy Chocolate Frosting

Yield 3 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate morsels
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half
  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar

How to Make It

  1. Cook first 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan over medium heat, stirring until chocolate melts. Remove from heat; cool 15 minutes. Stir in powdered sugar.

  2. Place pan in ice, and beat at medium speed with an electric mixer about 8 minutes or until of spreading consistency.
