1. Grease large baking pan with cake release. Layer thickly sliced onions and thinly sliced mushrooms into pan. Put in 400 oven and bake til onions just start to turn golden.
2. Heat cream,butter, salt, pepper and 1/2 of milk. Blend remainder of milk with flour. Slowly add to pan. When cream mix starts to thicken, pour over top of onions. Return to oven at 300 for ten to fifteen minutes.
