    We make these potatoes all the time and everyone is a fan. I dot the top with butter and sprinkle pretty heavily with seasoning salt.

    I prepared this cream cheese mashed potatoes recipe for Thanksgiving this year. It was really excellent. I substituted 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese in place of 3oz of cream cheese. Guests including kids loved it! I will only make this recipe for mashed potatoes from now on! Highly recommended recipe!

    These potatoes are delicious...and I had even frozen them! It's important to really fluff them up with a fork after reheating. I couldn't believe it!! NO ONE could believe they came out of the freezer. This is a keeper recipe. I love freeze ahead winners like this one.

    I've been making these mashed potatoes for years. The only change I make is to use onion powder and garlic powder to taste, then after they are ready, will sometimes place in a casserole dish, cover top with shredded colby or cheddar cheese, then bake until melted. Sprinkle top with paprika. I get rave reviews every time!
