Cream Cheese Frosting

Yield Makes 2 cups
A cake is not complete without crowning it with Cream Cheese Frosting. We use this frosting with our Stout Chocolate Cake.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How to Make It

  1. Beat cream cheese and butter until creamy. Gradually beat in powdered sugar at low speed until blended. Beat in vanilla. Beat at high speed until light and fluffy.
