Quick and easy Breakfast & Brunch casserol...very popular for pot luck.
2-8 ounces cans crescent dinner rolls
2-8 ounces pkgs. cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 stick butter or margarine
cinnamon and sugar to taste
How to Make It
Place 1 can crescent rolles, rolled out into the bottom of a 9x13 greased casserole dish. Cream together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Spread on top of dough. Roll other can of crescent rolls to fit on top of cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar heavily on top. Pour melted butter over top and bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Cut into squares when cooled. Good served warm.

Good, simple recipe. Next time I make it I will use 1/2 cup of sugar instead of 1 cup to the cream cheese and also use only 1/2 stick of melted butter. It needed extra baking time in the oven so I just turned off the oven after 30 minutes and let it brown another 10 minutes.
