Cream Cheese-Banana-Nut Muffins

These muffins are moist and delicious! To save a little on calories and fat, I used reduced fat cream cheese and only 1/2 cup of butter. Also, only 1 1/2 cups of sugar is required, especially if your bananas are very ripe. They add extra sweetness. Will make these a breakfast and snack staple in our home. All four kids devoured them!

I made these for company and they couldnt believe that they were homemade. They taste great, were moist and look great with alittle sprinkle of raw sugar before going into the oven.

I agree with former reviewers that these are moist and flavorful. I used xylitol instead of sugar and was pleased with the result. My husband loves these!

Yummy! I halved the recipe and I changed it by substituting 1 cup whole wheat flour and 1/3 cup soy flour for the 1 1/2 cups of white flour. I used a little less, because the whole wheat flour can make it drier. It turned out great! Husband approved.

I really liked how the cream cheese just made these muffins perfect, you couldn't tell it was there, the muffins just seemed amazingly tender and moist. Love it!

I was looking for something to make with overripe bananas besides the usual banana bread. These muffins are superb! I will be making them often! So glad I found this recipe!

Great recipe! I made it two times. One for my husbands co workers and once for a friend who had surgery. Both times it was a home run. Everyone was asking for the recipe. My husband asked me to keep the recipe and make a batch for us. Moist and delicious!

I've made many a banana-nut bread/muffin recipe but this is definitely on of the best. I baked mine for only 20 minutes instead for the whole 25 and used 1/3 the fat cream-cheese instead of regular but they still came out so very moist and golden brown. My whole family approves!

Excellent! Light, fluffy and delicious. I'll use the another reviewer's suggestion to sprinkle raw sugar on top before putting them in the oven to add a special (and bakery-like) touch next time!

It was worth a shot, the muffins were good. I poured the same batter into the loaf tray, and the bread came out great! Thanks!

These are a big hit at our house! I make them jumbo and with whole wheat pastry flour as well as strained yogurt instead of cream cheese. They are fabulous!
