Cranberry-Pear Pie

    I loved the way the pie crust turned out, but I found the filling to be too tart for my taste. The vanilla ice cream I served the pie with helped to balance the flavors.

    I substituted white raisins for the dried cranberries giving it a sweeter taste. Big hit on Thanksgiving. Would definetly make again.

    We loved this pie! Took it to a Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner Party, and it got rave reviews. I was pressed for the recipe, and of course, I told my gal pal, just where to find this one and other great pies*!* Enjoy, the fresh and dried cranberries really made it pop.
