I grew up skating on the bogs of southeastern Massachusetts, and my father endearingly called me a "bog-trotting swamp Yankee." Here's another essential cranberry dish.


  • 1 (12-ounce) bag fresh cranberries
  • 1 1/2 navel or seedless oranges, halved
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

How to Make It

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor, and pulse until desired consistency. Let stand at room temperature 1 to 2 hours to allow flavors to blend.
