Ingredients

  • 5 cups apple cider
  • 3 cups cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 5 whole cloves
  • 1 large orange, peeled and sliced
  • 1 (3-inch) cinnamon stick
  • 1 (1-inch) piece peeled fresh ginger, thinly sliced

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes. Strain cider through a sieve into a bowl; discard solids. Serve warm.
