Cranberry Chutney

Yield 4 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 2 celery ribs, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange rind
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup golden raisins
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 ground cloves

How to Make It

  1. Cook cranberries, sugar, and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat 5 minutes.

  2. Add remaining ingredients; cook, stirring often, for 35 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat; chill.

  4. Serve with turkey or ham. Store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks.
