This received rave reviews at Thanksgiving today. I was a little wary of making the shortbread crust. It was much easier than I thought and turned out very well. I had also not made an apple pie in a spring form before. With the shortbread up the side, it turned out very pretty. Would have been at home in a restaurant's pastry case.
