Whisk together first 5 ingredients. Gradually add oil in a slow, steady stream, whisking constantly until blended. Stir together coleslaw mix and next 4 ingredients in a large bowl; add vinegar mixture, tossing to coat.
This is our favorite Cole slaw recipe now. I was very hesitant about the smoked almonds and bought some plain roasted just in case. I tried a small bowl with the smoked and we haven't looked back! The only change I make is a healthier oil.
This was excellent! It has a get crunch and sweetness to it. I added a little less of the cider vinegar and oil because I didn't want the cabbage to be soggy, and that was plenty. I also added raisins and pecans.
