Cowboy Dip Sandwich

Leftover Slow-Cooked Mushrooms are great sliced and served in this warm and crusty sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 8 thick bread slices
  • 4 (1-oz.) pepper Jack cheese slices
  • Braised Beef Brisket
  • Pickled whole jalapeño slices

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400°. Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet. Top 4 bread slices with pepper Jack cheese slices. Bake at 400° for 5 minutes or until bread is toasted and cheese is melted. Top cheese-covered bread slices with warm shredded Braised Beef Brisket and remaining 4 bread slices. Serve sandwiches with warm brisket pan drippings on the side and pickled whole jalapeño peppers.
