Country-Pride Pork Chops

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sherry
  • 1/4 firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • Dash of ground ginger
  • 4 (1-inch-thick) center-cut pork chops

How to Make It

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients, mixing well; pour into a shallow baking dish . Add pork chops; cover and marinate in refrigerator overnight, turning chops several times.

  2. Remove chops from marinade, reserving marinade for basting . Place chops 6 inches from medium coals; grill 15 minutes on each side, basting frequently with reserved marinade.
