Cottage Pies

Recipe is for 4 individual cottage pies. Can also do in a casserole dish. From Jan 2010 Real Simple magazine.

  • 1 pound(s) ground beef
  • 1/3 cup(s) ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) frozen peas and carrots
  • 3 cup(s) mashed potatoes


  1. Brown ground beef and drain. Stir in ketchup and Worcestershire sauce; season with salt and pepper. Add frozen peas and carrots. Transfer to 4 individual baking dishes. Top with mashed potatoes. Bake at 400 deg until golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes. Can also top with shredded cheese.
