Just so you know, when you buy Masa there is a recipe on the bag that is extremely similar- and easier. All you have to do os combine the salt, water and masa, roll it into balls, press it down and stick it in a skillet. I also take the tortillas off the pancake griddle (I can cook more at a time) when they're slightly toasty on the outside, but slightly soft on the inside, which makes them nice and soft. In any case, I HIGHLY recommend making your own tortillas; my family won't eat anything else! P.S. Buy a tortillas press- you can get one for like 15 bucks.

I like that they are not greasy. But they did turn out a little stiff.
