Ingredients
- 1 cup(s) Yellow Corn Meal
- 1 cup(s) Flour
- 1 tablespoon(s) Sugar
- 1 tablespoon(s) Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon(s) Salt
- 1/3 cup(s) Oil or melted butter
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup(s) Milk
Preparation
- Combine dry ingredients in bowl and mix well. Combine oil (or butter), egg and milk together. Mix well. Stir into dry ingredients until just blended. Don't over mix. Pour into buttered bread loaf pan or 8" square pan. Bake in hot oven (400F) 25 minutes or until done.
