Ingredients

  • 1/2 C corn meal
  • 1/2 C flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • buttermilk (enough to make it mushy)
  • 1 tbs bacon grease
  • 1 tbs Crisco (melted)

Preparation

  1. Mix ingredients and pour in greased pan. Cook 30 minutes at 400 degrees or until brown.
