Cookie Frosting

This recipe goes with Italian Christmas Cookies

  • Yield: frosting for 10 dozen cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • Liquid food coloring

Preparation

Cream butter in a small mixing bowl; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add milk; beat just until smooth. Tint with food coloring as desired.
