Ingredients
- 1 stick(s) butter
- 2.5 cup(s) flour
- 2.5 teaspoon(s) baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoon(s) salt
- 3 eggs
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) vanilla
- 2.1/4 cup(s) brown sugar
- 1 package(s) chocolate, semisweet chips
- 1 cup(s) chopped nuts
Preparation
- 1 stick Butter or Margarine
- 21/2 cups all purpose Flour
- 21/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 21/4 cups (1 lb. box) Brown Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 1/8 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 package (12 oz.) Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Chopped Nuts
- Preheat oven to 350° Grease 9 x 13 Baking Pan
- Melt butter or margarine in microwave for 20 seconds. Add butter or margarine and all other ingredients in mixing bowl except chocolate chips and nuts. Mix well, then stir in chips and nuts by hand. Grease 9" x 13" baking pan. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 30-40 minutes — test with toothpick, when it comes out clean it’s done. Cut into squares when still warm (it’s easier to cut) and sprinkle tops with powdered sugar.
