  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 1/4 cups sifted powdered sugar, divided
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make It

  1. Combine butter, 1/2 cup sugar, cocoa, and vanilla; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add remaining sugar, beating until smooth enough to spread.
