Bake Classic Gingerbread as a sweet treat that is great all year round. Serve with coffee in the morning or enjoy as dessert.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 12-cup Bundt pan.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and salt. In a separate bowl, mix applesauce with baking soda. In a third, large bowl, whisk eggs, egg white, molasses, brown sugar and oil until smooth. Add to dry ingredients and gently stir to form a smooth batter. Fold in applesauce mixture.
Pour batter into Bundt pan. Bake in center of oven until a toothpick inserted in middle of gingerbread comes out clean, 45 minutes. Cool 5 minutes in pan on wire rack, then unmold to cool completely. Dust with confectioners' sugar and serve.
