Wonderful light but tasty recipe to go with a rich holiday meal. The orange gives it a wonderful flavor. I used frozen green beans that I thawed and they worked nicely. My husband suggested we try it with asparagus and it is great that way too!

I made this for an early Thanksgiving dinner and it was my favorite dish of the meal, probably my favorite green bean dish I've had! Could probably make it any season and be good...

Delicious and fresh tasting. A nice new take on the traditional green bean side dish.

I prepared this receipe for Thanksgiving and it was a big hit! I was in charge of the sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and my son's favorite pasta marinara. Each of the dishes (except the pasta) had an orange theme running through it. Everyone was amazed at how fresh and delicious the beans were. I was very careful not to overcook the beans so that they could be reheated just before the meal in the microwave for 3 min.

I agree with the other reviews. I made it at Thanksgiving and everyone loved it, taking seconds!

I make this for every holiday dinner (when green beans are in season). I LOVE this recipe! It's so easy and so delicious!!! My family loves it too. I usually add more orange zest & juice for a more citrus taste. If pine nuts are too expensive, I substitute pecans and find it just as yummy. I would recommend this recipe to anyone - and - I have!

What a side! Enjoyed this for holiday dinner today with orange baked ham and CL pot luck potato casserole. Cooked (steamed vs boiled) the green beans in advance to make life easy. Made recipe as it reads. Would make it anytime.

What a tasty yet light addition to the Thanksgiving meal! Let's face it, no one is going to go for seconds on the vegetables when there are stuffing, potatoes and gravy to be had, but this was flavorful enough that people noted the orange essence and the toasted pine nuts. This is easy enough to make on a weeknight.
