The magic of these delicious cinnamon streusel muffins is in the mix. No really, start with packaged mix, add two simple ingredients, and get ready to accept some hearty praise at the breakfast table.

Ingredients

  • 1 (15.2-oz.) package cinnamon streusel muffin mix
  • 1/2 cup dried apple pieces, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins

Preparation

Prepare muffin mix according to package directions, stirring dried apple pieces and golden raisins into batter. Place foil baking cups in muffin pans. Spoon batter into cups, filling two-thirds full. Bake and cool muffins according to package directions.

Note: For testing purposes only, we used Betty Crocker Cinnamon Streusel Premium Muffin Mix.
