Yield: 1 1/2 cups
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1 (3
- 2 whole allspice
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan; stir well. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes.
