Cinnamon-Maple Syrup

Store-bought maple syrup remains a good chioce if you're in a pinch for time.

Ingredients

1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons light corn syrup

2 whole allspice

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan; stir well. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes.
