Cinnamon Glazed Toast

  • 6 slices bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

How to Make It

  1. Remove crust from bread; cut each slice in half lengthwise. Toast bread.

  2. Cream butter in a small mixing bowl; add sugar, whipping cream, and cinnamon, beating well. Spread mixture evenly over one side of toasted bread. Broil 3 to 4 inches from heating element until bubbly and lightly browned. Serve immediately.
