How to Make It

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large saucepan; let stand 1 hour. Bring to a boil. Add tea bags; remove from heat. Cover and steep 10 minutes. Pour tea through a wire-mesh strainer into mugs, discarding spices and tea bags. Serve warm.
