Chocolate Sauce

Yield 4 1/2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 4 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 (16-ounce) package powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 (13-ounce) can evaporated milk

How to Make It

  1. Melt butter and chocolate in top of a double boiler; stir in powdered sugar and evaporated milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sauce is smooth. Serve warm over ice cream.
