This was perfect for my chocolate craving. I used semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of the milk chocolate pieces. And my peanut butter was low-fat. That may be why it was a little less sweet than I anticipated and a little less rich. But very easy to prepare and a good, solid recipe.

Have made this pudding a couple of times and it's been a success with each effort. Latest version was given to a friend's kids...who raved about it. I use organic, all natural peanut butter to keep the sugar level manageable.

This was very good, though I think next time I'll add more peanut butter for the taste did not come through as much as I would have liked. The pudding itself was delicious. I did not add bananas but added a dollop of homemade whipped cream with the nuts on top. Easy to make too! My guests loved it!

The best chocolate pudding I have ever eaten. The recipe was very easy. I substituted dark chocolate for the milk chocolate and it was yummy. Definitely a keeper.

So here is a modified version I just did. I believe it is not less calories, but some of the fat in the original recipe is changed to mono- and poliunsaturated from saturated fat. I did not use any cream, as I usually don't, and I was sure this recipe would still work without. I used two-cups of semi-skimmed milk, dark chocholate, a tablespoon of peanut oil to replace the fat that would come from the cream, and 1/4 cup of sesame butter (tahini). It turned out fantastic, with a nutty overtone. I did not add any topping, it was perfect on its own!

This is fabulous. I altered it a little by cutting the sugar in 1/2, using 1/2 Almond milk and 1/2 Coconut milk in place of the milk and cream, and using Dove dark chocolate left over from Easter in place of the milk chocolate. I topped it with light cool whip and chopped peanuts. It turned out wonderful and this will become one of our favorite desserts.

Super easy to make I halved the recipe and it was perfect for two. Didn't have bananas. But think they would make a good topping
