This is fantastic! I doubled the recipe and it was a tad bit too sweet. Next time I'll cut back on the sugar. Oh and I did add just a pinch of salt and a couple tablespoons of butter at the end to let it melt when I added the vanilla. Yummy just like my mother-in- law makes.

- mix sugar, flour, and cocoa in sauce pan.
- gradually add milk
- cook over medium heat until thickened (add more milk if too thick)
- add vanilla
- serve over hot biscuits with butter
