Chocolate Glaze

Yield Makes 3/4 cup


  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 (1-ounce) square unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water

How to Make It

  1. Combine butter and chocolate in a small heavy saucepan. Cook over low heat until chocolate melts. Cool 3 to 4 minutes. Add sugar and water; beat until smooth, using a wooden spoon.
