Chocolate Glaze

Yield about 1 cup


  • 2 tablespoons strong coffee
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 4 (1-ounce) squares semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped

How to Make It

  1. Combine coffee, syrup, and butter in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook 30 seconds; remove from heat, and let stand an additional 30 seconds. Stir in chocolate with a wire whisk, beating until smooth.
