- 2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened
- 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg, beaten
How to Make It
Combine chocolate and water in top of a double boiler; place over simmering water and cook, stirring constantly, until chocolate melts.
Remove from heat; add butter, and stir well. Cool slightly. Gradually add remaining ingredients, beating until smooth. Use immediately.
