- 4 eggs, separated
- 3 cups milk
- 3/4 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon sugar
- Ground nutmeg
How to Make It
Beat egg yolks in a large mixing bowl until thick and lemon colored. Stir in milk and chocolate syrup, mixing well. Set mixture aside
Beat egg whites (at room temperature) in a medium mixing bowl until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Gently fold egg whites into reserved milk mixture, blending well. Pour mixture into chilled serving glasses, and sprinkle tops with ground nutmeg.
