They seem so simple, and close to a plain ol' chocolate chip cookie but they got rave reviews from kids and adults alike. "Best homemade cookie I've ever had" was a common response.

These were pretty good, although for personal preference I think I should have left out the peanuts or chopped them into smaller pieces. This recipe makes a very large batch. I also omitted the cinnamon.

These cookies, with a couple changes were excellent! I added 1 tsp vanilla and altered the size of the cookies - I made them smaller and baked them for 7.5 minutes at 400 degrees. Enjoy!

These cookies are good, but kind of like "glorified" peanut butter cookies. I followed the recipe, only added a tsp. of vanilla, found 12 minutes was the better amount of time for baking. This is a big recipe, it made closer to 5 doz. cookies.

I followed the recipe and enjoyed the cookie, but I would definitely make some of the suggested changes. First, the cinnamon does nothing for the cookie. Second, I halved the peanuts but on second thought, I would leave them whole next time. You have a hard time telling the chunky peanut butter from the peanuts otherwise. You need something to stand up the chunks of chocolate. We also much preferred the regular recipe to the one adding the cocoa. There was more contrast in flavor in the regular recipe and make for a better tasting cookie. I would also try not to overbake them. I'm not a huge fan of cruncy cookies and these tended to overbake quickly. I will make them again.
