Chocolate Buttermilk Sheet Cake

An easy to make delicious chocolate cake. My grandchildren love it.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup(s) Flour Cake Ingredient
  • 2 cup(s) Sugar Cake Ingredient
  • 1 stick(s) Margarine Cake Ingredient
  • 4 tablespoon(s) Hersey Coco Cake Ingredient
  • 1 cup(s) Water Cake Ingredient
  • 1/2 cup(s) Buttermilk Cake Ingredient
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Baking Soda Cake Ingredient
  • 2 Eggs Cake Ingredient
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Vanilla Extract Cake Ingredient
  • 1 stalk(s) Margarine Frosting
  • 4 tablespoon(s) Hersey Coco Frosting
  • 6 tablespoon(s) Buttermilk Frosting
  • 1 box(es) Powdered Sugar Frosting
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Vanilla Extract Frosting

Preparation

  1. Mix in a Bowl and set to the side:
  2. 2 Cups Flour
  3. 2 Cups Sugar

  4. In a Saucepan Mix and Bring to a Boil:
  5. 1 Stick Margarine
  6. 4 Tablespoonss Hersey Coco
  7. 1 Cup Water
  8. Pour over Flour and Sugar Mixture and mix well.
  9. ADD:
  10. 1/2 Cup Buttermilk
  11. 2 Eggs
  12. 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  13. 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  14. Mix well and bbake for 20 Minutes @400 Degrees

  15. Frosting:
  16. In a Saucepan mix following ingredients and bring to a boil:
  17. 1 Stick Margarine
  18. 4 Tablespoons Hersey Coco
  19. 6 Tablespoons Buttermilk
  20. Slowly Add:
  21. Powdered Sugar and Vanilla extract
  22. Mix together until smooth and pour evenly over warm cake
  23. Let cool
  24. Serves 8
