Ingredients
- 2 2/3 cup(s) confectioners sugar sifted
- 1/4 cup(s) cocoa powder sifted
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt sifted
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup(s) butter softened
- 3 tablespoon(s) hot water
Preparation
- Sift confectioners sugar, cocoa powder and salt into a medium size bowl
- Add egg, softened butter and hot water
- Blend with spoon and then beat with electric mixer until smooth
- This recipe will frost 1 8 inch triple layer cake
- ** to frost a 4 9 inch layer cake I made 2 1/2 times the recipe and it was just right
