Choco Cupcakes

Yield Makes about 1 1/2 dozen


  • 1 (18.25-ounce) package chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup (6 ounces) NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
  • Chocolate Filling
  • Buttercream Frosting

How to Make It

  1. Beat first 4 ingredients at low speed with an electric mixer 2 minutes; then beat at medium speed 3 minutes or until blended. Stir in chocolate morsels. Spoon batter evenly into 16 to 18 paper-lined muffin pans.

  2. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

  3. Remove from oven. Make a small indention in center of each hot cupcake. Spoon 2 teaspoons Chocolate Filling into each center. Remove from pans, and let cool completely on a wire rack.

  4. Spread cupcakes with Buttercream Frosting.
