Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dry sherry
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons minced peeled fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha (hot chile sauce, such as Huy Fong)
  • 1/4 teaspoon five-spice powder
  • 1 garlic clove, minced

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat; bring to a simmer. Cook sherry mixture 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
