Chili Verde

    Sometimes when I deviate as much as I did here I wonder if I should rate the recipe but here goes......I didn't use any pork; probably a pound of round steak. No red wine, used water and used lime juice instead of lemon. And I had no cilantro on hand unfortunately. Instead of salsa I threw in a chipotle chile. (And forgive me but I used a couple teaspoons kosher salt and some fresh ground pepper). A tiny taste right off the bat proved to be VERY good. I PLAN to serve with some burrito sized tortillas but who knows as dinner time gets closer.
