Chicory Coffee Glaze gives our already delicious sugar cookies a bolt of flavor that everyone will love—especially sleepy-eyed elves with last-minute gifts to wrap!
Makes about 1 1/4 cups, enough to glaze 48 cookies
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons strong brewed chicory coffee
2 tablespoons whipping cream
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
2 teaspoons water
Garnish: crushed coffee beans
Stir together powdered sugar, brewed coffee, whipping cream, and kosher salt until smooth. Stir in up to 2 tsp. water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency. Garnish, if desired.
