    This recipe was pretty good. The sauce could have been a little thicker, maybe a little cornstarch would help. I agree with some of the other reviews, it needed more veggies. I threw in some broccoli I had on hand to help the recipe go a little further. It was definitely sweet and I only used half the amount of sugar it called for. A little tweaking would make this a better recipe.

    This was really delicious. The sauce is sweet, but the acidity of the vinegar keeps it from being cloying. If you're nervous about it, maybe reduce the sugar a bit. We subbed sugar snap peas for snow peas, and I cooked the sauce for slightly longer to make it a bit thicker. Super tasty - this will go into regular rotation. We served it with brown rice.

    Agreed on other reviews- tasty flavor / gooey Chinese food takeout taste; could double or triple veggies and still be good- we added broccoli and it was a nice addition.

    This recipe has become part of my regular rotation but DEFINITELY halve the sugar - the first time I made it I followed the 3 TBSP instructions and could hardly eat it it was so sweet - I almost wonder if it's a misprint and should be 3 TSP... anyway, with that change it's a keeper and really good.

    This was a great weeknight meal. I hate the way they have the rating system because as good as this is, I wouldn't make it for a special occasion. All the same it was better than just a solid recipe. Also, I felt it needed a few more veggies - carrots and broccoli maybe or mushrooms? My husband and I devoured it by ourselves (we had it with 2 cups of cooked brown rice instead of the boil in bag rice.)

    This recipe was extremely easy and delicious. We added some carrots and broccoli and it was fantastic. Really good quick, week-night dinner.

    I thought this meal was spectacular. Not only was it very tasty, it was easy yo make. I used mushrooms and green onions. The chicken turned out very tender and the sauce was yummy. Served it over rice prepared in my rice cooker.
