very good and hearty with the flavorful mushrooms; served over whole wheat noodles, used minced garlic from jar instead of roasting whole head and onion instead of shallots.

This was simply amazing. Lots of depth of flavor. I made the recipe as published but perhaps a little less olive oil. We served this with a southern rhone and it was the perfect pairing.
